Frequently Asked Questions By Patients

Who is this doctor I just received a statement from?

If you have recently had a surgical or radiological procedure done, then the statement you are receiving is probably the anesthesiologist or radiologist’s bill. Most people are unaware of who provided theses services to them due to they see them for such a short period of time.

Has the insurance company paid my bill yet?

We are happy to review your account and let you know the status of it. If your account has not been paid and it has been at least 30 days from the time we filed it, we will call the insurance company and find out the status.

Why did I get this bill since I have already paid at the facility?

When being treated for a surgical procedure you may be asked by the facility to pay money upfront before your procedure. This money is applied to the facility charge not the anesthesia charge. You may receive 3 separate bills. You may receive a bill for the facility, the surgeon and the anesthesiologist.
